Artwork Requirements
①. Participant's works must be handmade artworks related to NetEase's "Identity V" mobile game that include
but are not limited clay sculptures, fuse beads works, felt works, epoxy resin art, theme accessories, theme
outfits, theme foods, etc. Unrelated artworks and drawings will be considered invalid. Should you have any
enquiries about the type of artwork for submission, please contact Identity V's official Facebook/Twitter
account directly and we will reply promptly.
②. Any works submitted by participants must be original and plagiarism is strictly prohibited. First-time
released artworks are highly encouraged and will be given priority during the selection of winners.
1) Any works that are not related to the theme of this contest and beyond the scope of the type of works
submitted;
2) Plagiarized works or works that infringe intellectual property rights, property rights, reputation rights,
credit rights, and privacy rights, including ownership and copyrights of others;
3) Any works which depict violent, pornographic material, discrimination based on gender, race, ethnicity,
etc., or which may cause distress or discomfort to any third party;
4) Any works that violate national laws or public social moral order;
5) Any works that have been or are planned to be used for commercial purposes, and works that have been
submitted in other competitions or have won prizes in other competitions;
6) Submissions with incomplete information;
7) Any works violating the rules of the platform;
8) Other works considered unsuitable for publication by the organizer;
For all invalid submissions, Identity V reserves the right to remove the artworks from the competition and to
prohibit the participant from submitting again.
④. The copyrights for submitted artwork must belong to the participant. However, for winning artworks
(including but not limited to images/videos), Identity V officially owns the rights to use the artwork
(including but not limited to images/videos), including but not limited to the rights to publish and display
the information online, in magazines, books, art collections & exhibitions, and offline displays. Identity V
owns the rights to use the artwork (including but not limited to images/videos) free of charge.
Additionally, according to the requirements of the event, Identity V has the rights to adjust or modify part
of the artwork (including but not limited to the images/videos).
Participation Rules
①. The submission period for this event is from October 25, 2019, 00:00:00 to November 30, 2019, 24:00:00
(UTC+8).
②. During the event, participants will only need to enter the website and click on "Submit Work". After
logging in, fill in the artist's name and the name of the artwork, and upload all necessary work information
to officially participate in the competition. Entries must be submitted with a cover image (aspect ratio
should be 4:3, and the image must not exceed 10 MB.). Additional image or video info can be added. Please
carefully read the submission page guidelines before uploading your work on the submission page. Submitted
works details can be shared to social media platforms separately to obtain more votes. Users can search by
the artist's name/artwork name on the main voting page to obtain the details of a particular entry.
③. Participants have only one chance to upload all their artworks. Please carefully read the submission page
guidelines before uploading your work.
Voting Rules
①. The online voting period for this competition is from November 15, 2019, 00:00:00 to December 5, 2019,
24:00:00 (UTC+8).
②. During the voting period, voters only need to enter the website and click on "Artwork Selection". After
logging in, you can vote for your favorite artworks on the voting page. Each person has five votes daily to
vote for their favorite artworks. Plus, you can click to share specific work details to vote for the work
separately. Users can search by the artist/artwork name on the main voting page to obtain the details of a
particular entry.
③. The event prohibits the manipulation of data and other acts that undermine the fairness of the
competition. Identity V will monitor the voting, and violators will be disqualified as a consequence. Should
you have any enquiries about the voting, please contact Identity V's official Facebook/Twitter account
directly and we will reply promptly.
Evaluation Rules
①. The prizes for this event are as follows:
Excellence Award (x1): JPY 200,000 + Limited Portrait Frame
Gold Award (x3): JPY 100,000 + Limited Portrait Frame
Silver Award (x5): JPY 50,000 + Limited Portrait Frame
People's Choice Award (x100): Limited Portrait Frame
②. The Excellence Award, Gold Award and Silver Award will be decided by the jury after submission (closed on
November 30, 24:00:00 (UTC+8)). The jury will conduct a comprehensive evaluation according to the artworks'
external
appearance, craftsmanship and overall completion to choose the final winners. The same artwork will only be
awarded once.
③. The People's Choice Award is the 100 most popular entries on the competition's event page, and it is based
on the number of online votes at the end of the voting period (closed on December 5, 24:00:00 (UTC+8)). The
same
artwork will only be awarded once.
④. All awards will be announced on the event page and on Identity V's official Twitter and Facebook accounts
at a subsequent time after the voting period. Therefore, participants should not delete or remove related
information before then.
⑤. Winners will not be notified individually. Therefore, participants should follow the competition's event
page and Identity V's official Twitter and Facebook accounts for the announcement of the winning artworks
and prize collection links to fill in the necessary information within the specified time. Should there be
no response for a prolonged period, the winners shall be considered as voluntarily surrendering their
prizes. Should there be any tax deduction requirements, the prize will first be deducted by Identity V
before being issued in accordance with the normal tax process payment.
Additional Notes
①. During the competition, the personal information of the participants collected by Identity V will only be
used for identification verification and to contact the participants of this event and will not be used for
other purposes. Identity V will comply with laws and regulations related to the protection of personal
information, to use and manage the above personal information appropriately and cautiously, and delete such
information immediately after the event. For more details on Identity V's privacy policy, please refer to
https://unisdk.update.netease.com/html/latest_v30.html. We will process participants' personal information
in strict accordance with the privacy policy.
②. The company shall not bear any costs and other risks incurred by the submitted artworks, and all
submission risks shall be borne by the participants.
③. The company shall not be liable for any interruption or disqualification of the competition caused by
participants to Identity V.
④. Participants are responsible for the copyright of their artwork submissions. Any legal dispute arising
from plagiarizing the works of others shall be borne solely by participants.
⑤. In the case that the copyright of the submission belongs to more than one party, the participant shall
guarantee that the submission has been authorized by all other copyright owners. The organizers shall not
bear any legal liability for any dispute arising from any unauthorized works.
⑥. Reporting a Submission/Vote:During the competition, if you find any entries involved in the following
situations, please contact Identity V's official Facebook/Twitter account to report it directly. Identity V
will process it in accordance with the event's rules.
